What is PIS/Pasep?
O PIS / Pasep, previously a current tax, is now stored in the FAT (Worker Support Fund), which takes care of unemployment insurance and salary bonus benefits. Thus, Pis/Pasep raises resources for salaried workers.
The Salary Allowance, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, is an annual benefit worth a maximum of one minimum wage in effect on the date of payment, so workers will not receive double the amount in 2022.

The amounts can now be accessed by beneficiaries, simply by requesting the withdrawal of the remaining amounts that were transferred to the FGTS.

Who is entitled to receive PIS/Pasep in 2022?
The salaried worker has the right to receive PIS/Pasep, and he must be registered for at least 5 years, have a signed contract of at least 30 days in the base year (2020) and have received, on average, up to 2 minimum wages during this period.
