1. Access the Chrome Web Store, and then search for the WA Web Plus WhatsApp extension.
2. To apply, simply click the “Use in Chrome” button and then “Add extension”.
3. Then, open WhatsApp Web and with it already logged in, tap the extension icon
   browser which is located at the top right.
4. A window will open and various customization options will be displayed in a window.
5. To “become invisible”, select “Hide 'online' (Invisible Mode)” and “Hide 'typing…'”.
6. That's it, while using WhatsApp Web, you will be offline without having to worry about whether someone is viewing it while you are online or not.

Flychat app

Another option to remain invisible on WhatsApp, so that contacts cannot see it, is through the Flychat application, which is available on Android for free. See the step by step below.

1. Install the app, open the app and to begin with, authorize the tool to intercept your notifications. Once you have authorized it, the application will read messages received via WhatsApp.
2. Within the Flychat app, activate WhatsApp, then activate the “Link notification” option. Your default notifications coming from your messenger will be disabled and enabled only through Flychat.
3.  When you receive a WhatsApp message, the app will display a notification bubble, just open it to respond. The conversations will all be in the same place and are separated by tabs.
