How to withdraw the PIS/Pasep benefit?

For workers who have the right to receive the benefit, but are not Caixa holders, the money will go to a digital savings account, used through the Caixa Tem app.

For those who already have a current account, they can deposit into this existing account, using their own card, or they can use online banking or the Caixa App.

If PIS/Pasep cannot be deposited into a pre-existing current account, the beneficiary will have the possibility of using the Citizen Card, thus being able to withdraw funds from ATMs, Caixa Econômica Federal branches, and Caixa Aqui.

What amount will be paid in 2022?

According to the website of Caixa Econômica Federal, the salary bonus was updated in accordance with the minimum wage, which is currently R$ 1212.00 (one thousand, two hundred and twelve reais). The value then varies according to the months worked with a formal contract.

What documents are needed to withdraw PIS/Pasep?

The withdrawal, which can be made directly at an ATM or at a Caixa branch, can be made using the Citizen Card. With it, just go to a branch, using the card like any credit card, and use your personal documents.

  Requirements for receiving the benefit

  • Have been registered with PIS/Pasep for at least 5 years;
  • Have received an average salary of a maximum of 2200 reais per month in the current year;
  • Have worked with a formal contract for at least 30 days a year;
  • Be registered in the Annual Social Information List.
