The modified version of Whats was created with the aim of giving users more freedom in sending messages and personalizing and customizing the app's interface.

In WhatsApp Plus, the user has more possibilities to privacy setting, greater data and file transmission capacity, with almost no restrictions.

Among the various functionality and features of WhatsApp Plus, which differentiates from the original WhatsApp, we have:

• Displays the double blue checkmark only when the user responds to the message;
• Ability to read all messages and statuses, as well as messages and statuses removed by other people;
• It allows you to become completely invisible;

• The user can choose to hide the blue tick, second blue tick, micro blue tick, “write…” or “record…” for general contacts, groups or broadcast lists;

Differences between WhatsApp Messenger and WhatsApp plus

The official application, WhatsApp Messenger, is one of the most famous instant messaging applications in Brazil. Created in 2009 by Jan Koum and Brian Acton, former employees of Yahoo!, currently purchased by Facebook's Meta group.

The messaging app is known for its ease of sending instant messages, send emojis, gifs, audio and video in real time, among other functions. Being an encrypted application, it offers a lot of security and privacy.

On the other hand, WhatsApp Plus, the original WhatsApp mod app, presents several improvements compared to the other, but may leave something to be desired in terms of security and privacy, having a lot of flexibility to change these aspects.

Furthermore, WhatsApp Plus cannot be downloaded and updated through official channels, which does not guarantee full privacy and security for users.
